Kzone | Hydrofluoric Acid Cleaning Equipment Wins "Collaborative Development Award" Release time: 2025-07-17

July 10, 2025, Changchun — At the annual awards ceremony for the new display industry supply chain—held during the "2025 New Display Industry Supply Chain Technology and Market Exchange Conference"—Kzone was honored with the "Collaborative Development Award" for the hydrofluoric acid cleaning equipment it co-developed with leading enterprises in the new display sector.

As a critical step in the display manufacturing process, hydrofluoric acid (HF) cleaning directly impacts the ultimate performance, efficiency, and stability of device structures, thereby influencing the final product's yield rate. This process serves a dual purpose: not only must it remove impurities from the surface of the active layer, but it must also passivate the surface to mitigate the adsorption of interfacial impurities. Consequently, the requirements for surface cleanliness are extremely stringent; theoretically, the presence of any particles, metal ions, organic residues, moisture, or oxide layers is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, the surface is required to possess atomic-level flatness to ensure the process reliability of subsequent manufacturing stages. To this end, Kzone—in close collaboration with leading enterprises in the emerging display sector—spent three years overcoming nine major technical barriers. Through this concerted effort, they successfully developed an HF cleaning machine and achieved mass production, thereby mitigating supply chain volatility risks and laying a solid foundation for my country to gradually establish an independent technological ecosystem within the AMOLED field.

Moving forward, Kzone will continue to increase its investment in product R&D and innovation, while deepening its collaborative development model with panel manufacturers. The application document clearly articulates a strategic objective: "To join forces with partners across the industrial chain and establish a commanding hub for independently controllable wet-process equipment!" This objective aligns perfectly with the current trajectory of the display industry—a path focused on fostering "collaborative innovation across the entire industrial chain" to generate new-quality productive forces and forge new competitive advantages
